One of our most exciting recent projects took us to The Yards, where we worked with GSA to create a dynamic and impactful environment using brickwrap graphics and floor vinyls. This project allowed us to merge creativity, functionality, and efficiency—three things we are passionate about.
The Challenge: Creating a Hand-Painted Look with Brickwrap
The client’s vision for The Yards was clear: they wanted to create the illusion that the artwork on the brick surfaces had been painted by hand, adding texture, depth, and a raw, artistic feel to the space. While hand-painting would have been time-consuming, costly, and potentially damaging to the surface, we had a solution: brickwrap.
Brickwrap is a highly versatile material that adheres smoothly to any brick surface, providing a high-quality graphic finish. The beauty of using brickwrap lies in its ability to create the appearance of hand-painted artwork without the long installation times, high costs, or the permanence of traditional painting. Elevating the Space with 200+ sqm of Floor Graphics
To complete the atmosphere, we also installed over 200 sqm of floor graphics with anti-slip laminate. Flooring plays a crucial role in shaping the environment of a space, and for The Yards, the goal was to create a visually stunning experience while ensuring safety and durability. The floor graphics were designed to complement the bold brickwrap visuals, flowing seamlessly through the space to guide visitors and add a sense of cohesion to the environment.
The anti-slip laminate was a key feature, ensuring that the floor graphics were not only visually striking but also functional and safe for foot traffic. Whether creating pathways, highlighting key areas, or just adding an extra layer of artistic flair, the floor graphics truly brought the space to life.
End-to-End Service: Artwork, Production, Installation, and Removal
As with all of our projects, we took full ownership of this one from start to finish. Our team handled everything—from the initial artworking and design concepts to production and installation, and ultimately, the removal of the graphics at the end of the installation period.
Taking a hands-on approach ensured that every detail was executed to perfection, and it allowed us to maintain creative control throughout the entire process. We were able to seamlessly integrate our vision with GSA’s requirements, creating a space that felt both temporary and timeless, bold and refined.
