Transforming Anyho Park: A Spectacular Celebration for JD and Anthony Joshua by The Nevill Group

At The Nevill Group, we were honoured to take on a truly exciting and high-profile project at the stunning and historic Anyho Park in Banbury. Tasked with transforming the Grade 2 listed manor house into a modern, vibrant party house, our team had the unique challenge of blending the building’s rich history with a dynamic, contemporary celebration. This transformation was for JD, in collaboration with two-time champion Anthony Joshua, to mark his second championship win and celebrate the festive season with a host of big-time celebrities.

The transformation of Anyho Park was nothing short of spectacular, and we pulled out all the stops to ensure every corner of the venue was a visual masterpiece, creating an atmosphere that was both festive and electric. Here’s a look at the exciting elements we designed and installed for this one-of-a-kind celebration.

1. Wrapped the Entire Building in a Branded Christmas Bow

To make a grand statement, we wrapped the entire manor house in a massive, branded Christmas bow. This bold and festive touch immediately set the tone for the event, transforming the historic building into an eye-catching, larger-than-life present. The giant bow not only added a fun, celebratory touch but also served as the perfect backdrop for the evening’s festivities.

2. DJ Stage built for Performances by Aitch and Krept & Konan

For the entertainment, we created an impressive DJ stage, designed to be as dynamic and modern as the performers themselves. With Aitch and Krept & Konan taking the stage, we wanted to ensure the backdrop was as exciting as the performances. Our set builds created a stylish and engaging focal point that perfectly matched the energy of the night, giving the artists the perfect stage to perform for the A-list crowd.

3. Christmas Light-Inspired Press Wall

As part of the event’s branding, we created a stunning press wall inspired by Christmas lights. This creative design featured bright, glowing elements that captured the festive spirit while providing a perfect photo backdrop for the press and celebrities in attendance. The lights twinkled beautifully throughout the event, adding a touch of elegance and warmth to the celebration.

4. 3D Bauble-Inspired Press Wall

For another standout feature, we created a unique 3D bauble-inspired press wall. This design brought an interactive and festive feel to the space, providing an iconic, Instagram-worthy moment for guests to capture. The baubles were strategically placed to create depth and texture, making the press wall a true visual highlight of the night.

5. Individual Room Decor with AJ and JD Branding

Throughout the manor, we decorated individual rooms with exclusive AJ and JD branding. From subtle design elements to bold, statement pieces, each space was infused with the essence of Anthony Joshua’s victory and JD’s iconic brand. This personalized touch brought a cohesive feel to the entire venue, ensuring that every room felt like part of the celebration.

6. 24-Hour Installation and Breakdown

One of the biggest challenges of this project was the time frame. Our team successfully transformed the entire venue and installed every element in just 24 hours, and then did the reverse process to take it all down after the event. The quick turnaround was a true testament to the efficiency, precision, and professionalism of The Nevill Group, ensuring the venue was up and running on time for the big night and fully dismantled within a day.
